Moody 30 The Moody 30 offers good performance and excellent accommodation for up to six, and makes an economical small family cruiser. Introduced in 1975, and remaining in production for four years, with about 150 built, the Moody 30 has a distinctive hull style with very flared bows. The saloon has a dinette converting to a a double berth, and a single settee berth opposite. Add in a quarterberth under the slide-down chart table, and a vee-double in the forecabin, and you have six berths in 30 feet!
