DESCRIPTION Channel Islands 22, built by Silva Yates Plastics Ltd, Jersey, 1990. Hull number 1206. Designed by Alan Buchanan. Popular, compact, semi-displacement cabin cruiser suitable for inshore cruising and fishing. Log reads 8327NM. GRP construction. Dark blue hull, white superstructure. Rubber fender around gunwale, mahogany spray rails along hull. Teak grab rails. Cockpit with fold down cover (new 2009). Valiant 8ft rigid inflatable dinghy on davits. Stern boarding ladder. Legs. This boat has had 3 owners since new. ENGINES Twin Volvo Penta 2003T, three cylinder turbo charged diesels, 43hp each. Port engine, 1216hrs, rebuilt 2008 (1130 hrs). Starboard engine 1274hrs. Gearbox Volvo Penta MS2. Shaft driven three bladed propellers. Regularly serviced. Single lever Morse control for each engine. BATTERIES Two batteries, 12V, 70ah each. TANKAGE Fuel: Fibreglass tank, 180 litres lower part divided to provide separate supply to each engine. Water: Approx 40 litres with electric pump to galley and head. Gas: Two gas tanks stowed in ventilated locker in cockpit. ACCOMODATION Two berths in cabin with addition pull out double berth in cockpit. Table fits cabin and cockpit and in-fills cabin vee berth. Cabin headroom 5’8”. Jabsco toilet (new 2009) and wash hand basin in separate compartment. Galley with s/s sink, electric pump. Flavel two burner gas stove with grill and oven, storage, crockery and cutlery. Curtains in cabin and head.
