Sadler 34


The Sadler 34 is a true classic offshore yacht. A Powerful cruising yacht with a timeless design. Over the years the Sadler 34 had proven it's worth and became a well recognised name all over the world.
'Harrier' is a great example of Sadler 34, perfect for those wishing to travel a little further offshore and in comfort too. 'Harrier' was surveyed last year and since then almost all of the points that were raised have been attended to.

Volvo 2030, 29 horsepower, 3 cylinder, fresh water cooled, diesel engine. Shaft drive to 2 blade prop with rope cutter. Engine has had regular servicing and maintenance  by Volvo agents. Cruising speed of 6 knots. 25 gallon stainless steel fuel tank. 

3 x 12V batteries charged by alternator and Rutland wind generator (2012). Navigational lighting and interior lighting. Two Plastimo bulkhead compasses. ICOM Marine M421 VHF with DSC. Raymarine ST60 log and echosounder. Garmin chart plotter in cockpit (2011). Raymarine ST2000 autopilot. Clock/barometer. Navtex. Radar reflector. JVC stereo and 2 speakers.

Standard Layout for 7 berths over 3 cabins (picture below). Upholstered in blue. Webasto cabin heating. Separate heads compartment with ITT Jabsco marine toilet, 6ft+ headroom. Galley complete with 2 burner calor gas cooker with oven and grill, double sink, utensils and cutlery/crockery.

Sails and rig:
Fully battened mainsail by Quay Sails (2005), with three slab reefs, specially reinforced. Reefing cringles on mainsail luff, with bull-ring reefing stops. No.3 hank-on genoas. No.1 furling genoas. Hank-on storm jib. All sails have triple stitching. Radial head spinnaker (original - good condition, lightly used). Blue sprayhood and mainsail cover (both new 2007). Two hoop sprayhood, with strong 1" frame.

Safety Equipment:
3 x Fire extinguishers, including 1 multi-purpose with probe for insertion into engine compartment. Horseshoe lifebuoy at pushpit, with flashing light. Firdell Blipper radar reflector. Webbing jackstays on deck. Life jackets and 4 safety harnesses. Inflatable dinghy. Two manual bilge pumps. Various fenders and mooring warps. Plough anchor 35lb with 30M of 8mm chain and warp. Anchor ball and motor cone. Transom folding boarding ladder. Fog horn.
